Abstract Flora with Doodles
A Variety of Brusho Styles
In this course Contributing Artist Nina Morgan offers many interesting features for the beginner or intermediary student. For each of these paintings a different style has been used. One is borne of the imagination and includes the use of pen and ink, and painting with a stick – it simply evolves. Another is based on a supplied image (a barn scene) and is not so much about directly copying, but providing an impression of it in a more straightforward painterly fashion; it includes an element of masking. The third is a random style piece, because it depends on the way the water is added, and thus how far the Brusho crystals will spread, in accordance to application and placement. This is the exciting element of Brusho! It also introduces a little doodling to increase your creative juices.
